These isles are really little more than areas of land in the middle of the river that are a little above the water level. Despite their small sizes, they are quite beautiful and green with trees and bushes. The water roars past the isles with occasional thundering as it pounds and boulders stubborn enough to stand in its path. Sturdy stone and concrete bridges span the river allowing the casual hiker easy access.
